Our company cooperated with a company in Qingdao for the [Beijing Mechanical and Electrical Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park Project]. The customer had extremely high requirements for construction period and cost control, and our company needed to complete the main steel structure construction of 40,000 square meters within 60 days.
At the beginning of the project, the customer had insufficient experience in the use of steel structures and was worried about the construction quality and later maintenance issues. We took the initiative to invite customers to visit past projects and arranged for the technical team to explain in detail the fire prevention and anti-corrosion treatment process of steel structures, as well as how modular construction can shorten the construction period. Through transparent communication, the customer gradually dispelled his doubts and took the initiative to propose to adjust some designs to adapt to our construction plan.
The construction phase coincided with the rainy season, and the original foundation construction progress was affected. We held a coordination meeting overnight to complete the prefabrication of some components indoors in advance, and at the same time added pumping equipment to ensure the dryness of the foundation pit. The customer was impressed by our adaptability and not only cooperated to adjust the material entry time, but also assisted in coordinating the cross-operation issues of other construction units in the park.
The final project was delivered 5 days ahead of schedule, and the customer specially praised the weld quality and installation accuracy during the acceptance. What surprised us even more was that three months later, they took the initiative to contact us, hoping to cooperate on the optimization of the steel structure design of the second phase project. This cooperation made us deeply realize that the success or failure of steel structure projects depends not only on technology, but also on building trust with customers. When both parties are willing to flexibly adjust for common goals, seemingly difficult challenges can also be transformed into win-win opportunities. Today, this customer has become our long-term partner.
